EITC Program-- Update

The Partnership for Erie's Public Schools was recently approved by the PA Department of Community and Economic Development to receive EITC donations on behalf of the Erie School District.

EITC donations made to PEPS will support the Career and Technical Institute at Central Tech High School as well as the expansion of Jr. Career and Technical Institutes to Wilson and Roosevelt Middle Schools.  This PA tax-credit program is a win-win for your business AND our Erie Public Schools!

In 2013-14, PEPS received our first EITC donations from Waste Mangement, PNC Bank, Scott Enterprises and Erie Insurance.  During this school year, PEPS donated over $14,000 to Career and Technical projects at Central Tech through the EITC program. These funds were used to purchase a new 3D printer for the school's Career/Technical Initiative and pay for field certification exams for Central students who cannot afford them.  Thank you Waste Management, PNC Bank, Scott Enterprises and Erie Insurance!

If you are an EITC-approved business in Pennsylvania and wish to make your EITC donation to PEPS, please contact Daria Devlin (daria.devlin@partnershipeps.org) or send your donation to us at PEPS, P.O. Box 514, Erie, PA 16512.
